In autumn time the hills are slanted;
It’s funny how they bend,
As cloudy rays on crimson fields descend.
There’s something mystical about it,
So much of it astir,
Preoccupied and waiting for a winterer
To come undaunted, this kind the season’s wanted,
Distracted and unsettled as it were.
